June 15, 2022

The Diocese of Wiawso is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from Trinity Church Wall Street Philanthropies to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for a significant development project in Bibiani, Ghana.

Project Overview

This grant will enable the Diocese to evaluate the development potential of a diocesan site located in the central business district of Bibiani. The feasibility study will explore various possibilities for the site, including retail, office, residential, surface parking, conference facilities, or a combination of these uses.

Professional Partnership

The Diocese has contracted Silicon Real Estate Development and Investment Consult, a respected regional commercial real estate company based in Ghana, to conduct this important study. The comprehensive analysis will include:

  • Real estate market study and financial analysis
  • Development prototypes and cost projections
  • Potential operating costs and rental income analysis
  • Construction cost estimates
  • Development precedents in Bibiani
  • Investment analysis and financing options
  • Evaluation of zoning restrictions and local fundraising potential

Leadership and Vision

Under the leadership of The Rt. Rev. Kwame Ampomah, Bishop of the Diocese of Wiawso, this project represents our commitment to strategic growth and community development. The feasibility study will provide crucial insights to guide future decision-making regarding this valuable diocesan asset.

Community Impact

This development initiative reflects the Diocese’s dedication to serving our community and exploring opportunities that align with our mission while contributing to the economic development of Bibiani and the surrounding region.

Acknowledgment

We extend our sincere gratitude to Trinity Church Wall Street Philanthropies for their generous support of this feasibility study. This grant enables us to take a thoughtful, data-driven approach to potential development that will benefit both the Diocese and the broader community.

The feasibility study is expected to be completed by November 30, 2022, with findings and recommendations to guide our future planning and development decisions.
